Drod Tunstall’s idea for the Sunflower Club was a response to Warburton’s schools breakfast club initiative. The Sunflower Club pack was designed to promote healthy eating and brand engagement. The pack included a height-measuring chart for growing kids and specially chosen Warburton’s sunflower seeds for them to grow at home or school.
The Sunflower Show competition invited photographs of sunflowers grown by under thirteen’s. Over 1200 entries were recorded the first year with the winner and her family winning a trip to Disney World. The PR coverage in local and national press demonstrated the real value of community engagement strategies using ideas that grow!
